Airport Check-In

Korean Air offers several options for passengers to check-in, baggage drop, and have a boarding pass issued.


What to Prepare

  • Passport (Original copy of Identification for Korea domestic flights)

    • For most destinations, your passport must have at least 6 months of validity as of the arrival date. Please check the expiration date of your passport before traveling.
    • Some countries do not accept a passport without the holder’s signature. Make sure to place your signature on the passport prior to travel.
    • For Korea domestic flights, the booking name must match with the information on the Identification to be presented at the airport.
  • Flight ticket

    • Some countries may require return or onward flight tickets for entry. Please prepare a copy of your e-ticket in advance.
  • Visa

    • Please check the immigration laws of the country which you are traveling to in advance, as well as whether it is necessary to acquire a visa in accordance with the purpose of your trip and period of stay in the country.

Note

  • Pursuant to government notice, emergency exit seats may be assigned only to physically able passengers over 15 years of age capable of understanding cabin crew instructions and assisting other passengers in exiting the aircraft. It cannot be reserved in advance for this reason.
