Payment with Card
Fill in the Payment Information in English
The Credit/Debit Card purchase can be rejected by Card Company in cases below:
- When the Billing address in USA/UK/Canada of credit card is unmatched
- When CVV/CVC is not exactly matched
The Pop-Up for authentication is provided by Card Company and can be limited in certain browsers.
Payment in installments by credit/debit cards issued in countries outside of Korea is not permitted.
The payment method for a flight ticket cannot be changed after purchase.
Payable Cards
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, UATP, Diners Club, Discover, JCB
Diners Club : Available except for the purchase made in KRW, CNY, RUB
Discover Card : Available except for the purchase made in KRW, JPY, CNY, RUB
JCB card : Available only for the purchase made in KRW, JPY
Payer Authentication
The authentication service is required to verify information registered on the payment card for purposes of cardholder verification.
There are two ways of the payer authentication :
- Address : Authentication with the billing address of the credit/debit card and CVN

3D Secure (Visa/Master/AMEX/JCB)
- Visa : Visa Secure
- Master : Mastercard Identity Check
- AMEX : AMEX Safekey®
- JCB : J/Secure™ (Available for purchase made in JPY or KRW)
You will be required to assign a password for the authentication program
(Visa Secure, Mastercard Identity Check, AMEX Safekey) and please note that some card companies may not provide an authentication service. Please contact your card provider for more information.
Installment payments are only accepted if the credit/debit cards are issued in Korea.
Foreign transaction and/or currency conversion fee may be added to your billing statement when the primary currency of travel origination is different from the currency of the credit/debit card issuing country.
PayPal payment service is provided with 13 different Currencies except KRW/CNY/MYR/IDR/RUB. You can make a payment with PayPal until 72hours prior to departure.
If you purchase a ticket using a PayPal account, please note that the transaction may be invalid and the ticket may be cancelled if the payment is not successfully completed after ticket issuance. About 30 minutes after the transaction has been made, please reconfirm the payment status under "My Trips" or "Search Tickets".
In accordance with PayPal's Acceptable Use Policy, passengers who have registered for PayPal through the PayPal Korean site will be unable to proceed with payment. Please choose an acceptable form of payment to continue with your purchase.

Korean Air uses the Korean sales account for PayPal, so please note that additional fees such as cross-border fee may be charged to some credit/debit cards registered in PayPal.
Apple Pay is an acceptable payment option on our KE Mobile app/Mobile website. Apple Pay service is available for itineraries departing from America region and paying with USD currency.
It’s easy to use Apple Pay with your debit or credit card.
Make sure your iPhone is running the most up-to-date iOS by checking ‘Software update’ – you’ll find this under ‘General’ in ‘Settings’.
To add your card to your iPhone, open the Wallet app, then tap the plus sign in the upper right-hand corner. If the card you'd like to use is already in iTunes, you can quickly add it by entering the card security code. If you need to add a new card, simply follow the on-screen instructions.
When you purchase tickets on our payment page, select “Apple Pay” button; select the card you wish to pay with, use Touch ID or Face ID to complete your payment.
